Surgical Services

Hurley Medical Center offers nurses an excited and fast paced career in the area of surgical services. Positions available include:

Interventional Radiology
Also known as Image-Guided Surgery, this a subspecialty of radiology in which minimally invasive procedures are performed using image guidance. The images allow the interventional radiologist to guide catheters through the body to the areas containing disease, thereby minimizing physical trauma to the patient and shortening recovery time.

Same-Day Surgery and Pre-Admission Testing
Same-day surgery is performed for a wide range of routine or minor procedures that do not require an overnight stay in the hospital. Pre-admission testing consists of a battery of tests performed before a person is admitted to the hospital.

Procedure Clinic
Hurley’s procedure clinic performs out-patient minor surgery that does not require an overnight stay in the hospital.
