Wellness

At Hurley Medical Center, one of our primary concerns is supporting our employees in their efforts to be healthy. As one example of our commitment to a healthy environment, Hurley became an entirely smoke-free campus as of January 1, 2011.

In addition to providing the full continuum of medical services our employees need over the course of their lives, we offer specialized health and wellness resources to help them get healthy and fit.

We encourage our employees to take advantage of the programs and services offered through the Health First Employee Wellness Department, including:

•    Hurley Health & Fitness Center discounted membership
•    Health First Employee Wellness Web Portal
•    Weight loss programs
•    Walking programs
•    On-campus exercise classes
•    Nutrition seminars and one-on-one counseling
•    Stop-smoking programs
•    Wellness Wednesday seminars (stress & anger management, financial health, grief and mourning)
•    Chair massages
•    Healthy cooking demonstrations
